02/13/10 – FREE (month-long) Pro Tools Workshop – Music Villa

Music Villa is offering a FREE ProTools workshop with Grammy Award Winning Engineer : Doc Wiley. This will be a month long workshop and will take place every Saturday from 11am till 1:30pm. (with the exception of Feb. 20th due to the Ukulele workshop). The first class was Feb. 6, 2010. The second class is Feb. 13th. If you missed the first class you can still attend the second. Please come early cause seats are limited.

Kick start your home studio with the following steps:

• Setup, configuration and maintenance of your DAW home studio.
• A simple step by step example of a basic home recording.
• Furniture placement and simple acoustical solution.
• Foundational concepts in DAW (protools) such as navigation, file management, importing, basic recording.
• Acoustics and Monitoring.
• Signal Flow.
• Introduction to Microphones & concepts of line-in or direct-in.
