Taylor 614ce V-Class
One of the distinctive traits of maple as a tonewood is its sonic transparency, which makes it wonderfully player-reflective. On this maple/spruce 614ce, a torrefied (specially roasted) Sitka spruce top and our tone-enhancing V-Class bracing take that natural versatility to a whole new level. Whatever the player brings to the guitar comes through—it can be played to sound warm or bright. The roasting process for the top elicits a more played-in tone, and together with the V-Class bracing gives the player a more expressive tool in the form of increased dynamic range, greater projection, longer sustaining notes, and more harmonic agreement with chords up the entire fretboard. The 614ce also stands out as one of the most touch-sensitive models in the entire Taylor acoustic line. Whether you play fingerstyle arrangements or strum in alternate tunings, whatever your preferred musical style, this guitar pays musical dividends on what you put into it. Aesthetic touches include a hand-rubbed Brown Sugar stain that highlights the rich figure of the maple back and sides, along with ebony binding, a paua abalone rosette trimmed with ebony and ivoroid, and our Wings fretboard and peghead inlays in grained ivoroid. The guitar ships with ES2 electronics in a deluxe hardshell case.
Taylor PS14ce 2018 MILAGRO BRAZILIAN ROSEWOOD LTD V-Class
This Taylor Presentation Series is as always one of the most spectacular guitars offered from this great guitar company! This cutaway Grand Auditorium features a very rare piece of Milagro Brazilian Rosewood and Sinker Redwood top with the new V-Class™ bracing, which bolsters the volume and sustain. The bracing also improves the guitar’s intonation, giving each fretted note more power, uniformity and harmonic agreement with other notes. All of these enhancements translate into a more musically expressive voice for players to explore. The asthetic quality of this guitar include elaborate vine fingerboard inlay, torch inlays in the peghead and bridge and also the very comfortable and visually apealing contured Ebony armrest.
Milagro is Spanish for “miracle” and rightly so. The Milagro is a spectacular “miraculous” Brazilian rosewood tree that is estimated to have germinated in the early 1600s. It grew inthe area of Linhares, state of Espiritu Santo, on a hillside. Lack of water caused slow growth and resulted in very unique spider webbing. Mother Nature blessed this spectacular 400-year-old Brazilian wood with unparalleled aesthetic and beautiful tonal qualities. When struck, it can resonate like glass with unmatched sustain and projection
There are very few of these Milagro Brazilian guitars available so we're thilled to have been chosen from the few Taylor dealers to offer this one to you!
Yamaha FS820 Ruby Red
In addition to warmer and stronger sound thanks to the mahogany back and sides, the body binding and fingerboard binding are cream plastic, for an upgraded look. A wealth of color options are available. The small and thin body is perfect not only for female/young players but for intermediate to upper level finger-picking style players.
Taylor 714ce WSB V-Class
This vintage-look edition of our Grand Auditorium 714ce sports a Western Sunburst top treatment to complement its warm, saturated tonal personality. The solid Lutz spruce top delivers a powerful sonic output (reminiscent of old-growth Adirondack spruce) that’s further bolstered by the addition of our V-Class bracing. Together with solid Indian rosewood back and sides, players can expect the appealing blend of strong lows, sparkling highs, and overtone bloom that has made rosewood a tonewood favorite, with an inspiring new level of musicality thanks to the bracing. The guitar produces surprising volume with a light touch, while heavier strumming yields stunning projection and sustain. The V-Class architecture also controls the top movement in a way that produces a more orderly response, enhancing the in-tuneness of the notes and giving rosewood’s rich overtone bloom a wonderfully well-behaved character. Wood-rich aesthetic details include koa binding, a herringbone Douglas fir/maple rosette, bias-cut Douglas fir top trim, and our Reflections fretboard/peghead inlays in abalone. This model includes Taylor ES2 electronics for faithful amplified tone and ships in a deluxe hardshell case.
