Musician Andy Scott’s tour to benefit Rainforest Alliance

Singer / songwriter Andy Scott (aka ‘Goat’) is gearing up for an extensive tour to support the release of “Don’t Tempt Fate” this summer, and has scheduled performances for Saturday, June 14 at the Zebra in Bozeman with a guest acoustic performance by BrotherGirl, and Thursday, June 19 at the Owl Lounge in Livingston. Produced by Bozeman Entertainment in conjunction with Gibson Guitar, the project will donate 5% of proceeds to the Rainforest Alliance, and will be matched by Gibson Guitar.

Andy set a very specific tone for “Don’t Tempt Fate” with a modern acoustic approach to swing and blues. “This is the kind of record you listen to when the sun goes down and the moon is coming up, when the day’s colors are fading and the evening spirits awaken.” The album, at its core, is a collection of love songs — sometimes sweet, sometimes sad — albeit with a good beat and rhythm throughout.
