Music Villa and the Music Villa Live concert series are proud to announce the performance of Mike Beck & the Bohemian Saints! The show will be Saturday, June 13, 2009 from 6-7 pm on the Music Villa sound stage. This band is truly something to see!

About the Band

Mike Beck & The Bohemian Saints has four members: Mike Beck (vocals, guitar), Tom Ayres (lead guitar), Marty Lydon (bass guitar), and Paul Montgomery (drums). The band has been together for 6 years and are based out of Monterey, California. All members of the band have known each other for years.

The Big Dream

The biggest focus of the band is to create good music.  We would like to enlarge our fan base, possibly start playing more festivals and venues other than traditional bar scenes.

The Name

The name “Bohemian Saints” came from a book Rambling Jack Elliot gave me which was a collection of letters by Jack Kerouac.

Starting the Band

The Bohemian Saints came together on its own in a lot of ways.

Recording

We currently have two albums out: “Rooted” and an EP project called four songs. “Rooted” went to number #8 on the ‘Roots Rock Chart’ which monitors internet and independent radio airplay.

The Future

We always want to keep moving forward with song writing, recording and performing.
