Electro Harmonix Bad Stone Phase Shifter
EHX has resurrected the legendary Bad Stone Phase Shifter. With prices of 1970s’ vintage Bad Stones soaring, now is your chance to get a reissue that is faithful to the original circuit design and three-knob control layout, but features up-to-date enhancements for the modern player. The Bad Stone delivers an incredible six stages of phase shifting plus a manual mode that lets the player freeze the phase. Its Rate knob controls the phase shifting speed which goes from a very slow swoosh to a rapid, oscillating warble. Feedback determines the depth of the phase effect and a toggle switch lets the user select Auto or Manual modes.
Caroline Kilobyte Delay
Kilobyte™ is our highly anticipated lo-fi digital delay pedal. We’ve kept your original, dry signal path analog and pure, then given you a +21db boost/overdrive preamp to smash a low fidelity digital delay chip designed for karaoke machines and kids’ toys into smeared, repeated glory. Yeah, we’re going back in time – back to when they measured data in KILOBYTES! This pedal is VERY capable of fun runaway oscillations, both by turning up the summation knob, or a controlled, high-pass filtered oscillation from the Havoc momentary foot switch. If you’ve ever struggled to make your delays come through prominently in the mix, or lost definition from your original signal, the attack and level controls can allow you to dial up everything from crisp, clean slapbacks to dirty, muted echoes and loud, powerful repeats. A beautiful, subtle modulation circuit courtesy of our friend Jack DeVille also sweetens the repeats with just the right amount of movement.
CopperSound Polaris Chorus / Vibrato
Polaris is a chorus/vibrato inspired by the original EHX Small Clone. One has resided in the shoppe since it’s inception. With it’s smooth modulation and simple controls, it was a great starting point. At the heart of Polaris resides an MN3007 BBD chip. The same chip found in the original NYC box. After recreating the circuit in a breadboard, we moved forward from there. We started by replacing the depth switch in favor of a knob. This allows for better control of the modulation depth. Following in the steps of Daedalus, we incorporated a second depth knob that is selectable via the secondary footswitch. The original circuit did not have any tone control options. We decided to implement a Tone knob on Polaris. This knob allows the user to add or cut lower bass presence to the signal. Once we had a tone section sculpted to our liking, we placed a master Volume knob at the end of the circuit. The Volume knob goes from full cut to slightly boosted above unity volume. These two knobs work in conjunction with each other. Lastly, we added a Mode toggle switch to seamlessly alter between chorus and vibrato modes.
