Introducing the MV Performance Academy!

Music Villa is proud to announce it’s brand new Performance Academy designed to bring music students together, and assist them in the art of live performance. We are fully booked for the 1st session. Rehearsals have begun and the first performance will be in April. Rehearsals for the 2nd session will begin in mid-March. ABOUT THE PROGRAM

MV Performance Academy is an eight-week program intended to give musicians the opportunity to develop proficiencies in areas of live-stage performance. Each student is placed in a band of fellow musicians, and throughout the eight weeks, has the opportunity to work directly with a professional musical or technical coach. Students are expected to participate in weekly in-store rehearsals designed to simulate live-stage performance, as wells as concert Dress Rehearsals. At the end of the eight weeks, students perform LIVE before an audience of family, friends, and music lovers alike!

ENROLLMENT

Enrollment in MV Performance Academy includes:

  • Skill Assessment Session
    Students are required to complete a musical skills assessment with their coach to be accurately matched with a group.
  • 2 Master classes
    Master classes are designed to introduce students and coaches. They will provide one-on-one learning time to cover material for which the students will be responsible.
  • 6 Band practices
    Students practice their music in a group with emphasis on live-stage performance.
  • Dress Rehearsal
    Multi-group rehearsals, including lighting and sound technician.
  • Live Performance
    Students will have the opportunity to perform LIVE in a produced show, including sound, lighting, and video recording.

The eight-week program fee is $255.
