An Overview of the Taylor 322ce 12-Fret Acoustic Electric Guitar
CATEGORY:
10/2/2017

The Taylor 300 series line has a history of offering an exceptional, American made, solid wood guitar at a reasonable price point.

In 2016 Taylor revamped the line to offer more variety to their 300 series, including the beautiful 322ce.

The 322ce 12 Fret is a special guitar that incorporates a mahogany top with Tasmanian Blackwood back and sides. This wood combination gives a clear tone with a focused midrange and top end shimmer coming from the Tasmanian Blackwood.

This beautiful guitar has a comfortable Grand Concert shape, that is smaller than a dreadnought and can easily be played all night long.

The Taylor 322ce is one of those guitars that is not afraid to be played. While the Grand Concert shape lends itself to fingerpicking, you will not be disappointed if your style is to really dig in with a pick. The tonewoods and build of this guitar will give you the volume you need to be heard.

Taylors’ 12 fret neck, with the slightly shorter 24 7/8” scale length makes this guitar a breeze to play. You will immediately notice that it is easier to form chords and bend strings with these neck dimensions.

If plugging in is part of your routine, the Taylor 322ce come equipped with Taylors’ famous ES2 pickup system, that uses a behind the saddle design to accurately reproduce the guitar's tone through a P.A. or acoustic amp. The simple, yet effective controls give you the ability to shape your sound to perfectly match the venue.

All of this paired with a Venetian cutaway, diamond neck inlays, ebony fretboard, shaded edge burst finish and shipped with a Taylor hard shell case, making the 322ce a huge bang for the buck.
