Hooligans

Formed in 1990, Hooligans is Bozeman's longest running roots rock/americana/blues/jam band. Inspired by the improv driven music of the San Francisco scene as well as early folk, blues and great rock’n’roll. Hooligans perform original songs written by band leader Tom Garnsey and Bill Payne of Little Feat, as well as a large catalog of covers from Bob Dylan, Grateful Dead, Little Feat, The Band and more. Hooligans have shared the stage with Bill Payne (part time member & collaborator), Rodney Crowell, Stu Allen and Melvin Seals and have opened for many nationally touring bands including THE Band, Hot Tuna, Jimmy Cliff, Nikki Bluhm and the Gramblers, Robert Randolf and the Family Band and have appeared on Montana PBS 11th & Grant series.
