D'Addario EPN110 Pure Nickel, Regular Light (10-45)
EPN110's combine the playability of D'Addario's best selling light gauge set with a warmer, vintage tone. D'Addario XL Pure Nickel strings look back to the '50s, when nickel was the primary alloy found in electric guitar strings. Pure nickel strings would be supplanted by nickelplated steel in the '60s when guitarists required brighter tone and enhanced magnetism. Pure Nickel brings back the richer, warmer timbres found in traditional blues, classic rock, rockabilly, and more. String Gauges: Plain Steel .010, .013, .017, Nickel Wound .025, .035, .045
DiMarzio Twang King Bridge Standard Tele
When we decided to go for the vintage Tele® sound, we knew we had to do more than just copy a forty-year-old design. We wanted pickups that captured the best elements of our favorite Broadcaster® and Telecaster® sounds — and then some. The Twang King™ pickups have unequalled response to pick attack: light playing produces a soft, quiet tone and hard picking creates a harder, louder, and more dynamic sound than any comparable single-coil. We accomplished this with a combination of controlled-tension coil-winding, special wire, and hand-calibrated magnets. The neck pickup comes with a chrome cover, and the bridge model has a ferrous base plate. Both pickups are wax-potted twice for squeal-free performance.
DiMarzio Area 58 Hum-Canceling Strat
There are two major differences between a great vintage Strat® pickup and an average one: treble response and dynamics. A great pickup is clear and bright, but not thin-sounding. A great one makes the sound jump out of the amp when you pick hard and drop way down when you play softly, and the tone varies when the string is picked at different spots. The best pickup we’ve ever heard like this was from 1958, and that’s what inspired the Area 58™, with two major differences. Our pickup has way less magnet pull, and virtually no hum.
Music Nomad Humitar Acoustic Guitar Humidifier
Acoustic guitar wood needs moisture to play and look its best. A dry guitar can warp, shrink and worse yet, crack! MusicNomad, the leader in equipment care products, has developed an easy to use, no mess, and low maintenance guitar humidifier. The Humitar safely releases moisture evenly to eliminate these potential problems. Our innovative Humid-i-Bar sponge holds a lot more water than our competition. This means less monitoring on your end while resting assured your fine guitar is being cared for. Time to check the Humitar? Easy! Pop the top, touch the insert; if it’s wet leave it, if it’s dry, it’s time to rehydrate. Rehydrating is a cinch – simply remove the Humid-i-Bar sponge, soak it in distilled water and you’re back in action – easy no mess and low maintenance.
