Taylor 312e 12-Fret
Taylor’s 12-fret guitars update a classic steel-string design with signature touches that combine a slinky handfeel with impressive tonal power for the compact Grand Concert body size. The 312e 12-Fret’s slightly condensed 24-7/8-inch scale length makes the fretting experience more accessible, while the solid sapele and Sitka spruce pairing produces a vibrant midrange with pleasing focus and projection. Additional details include satin back and sides with a gloss top, black binding, Italian acrylic small diamond fretboard inlays, a 3-ring rosette, and Taylor’s stage-ready Expression System 2 acoustic electronics. The guitar comes with a Taylor deluxe hardshell case.
Taylor 214ce Koa (2017)
This latest edition of our cutaway Grand Auditorium 214ce features an aesthetic update to feature attractive layered Hawaiian koa back and sides. Under the hood, upgraded internal bracing dials up the guitar’s sonic horsepower to give the solid Sitka spruce top more dynamic range. Clean appointments include white binding, Italian acrylic dot inlays, a faux tortoise shell pickguard, an ebony peghead overlay, and satin-finish back and sides with a glossy top. Together with the onboard Taylor ES2 pickup and signature Taylor playability, this guitar delivers pro-grade stage appeal in every way. It also ships in our lightweight hardshell gig bag for easy transport.
Cordoba GK Studio
The GK Studio’s neck is designed to have little or no relief, offering low action for ease of comfort and quick playability. Flamenco players will love its bright, snappy tone designed to cut through a noisy venue. However, any guitarist looking for a new tone will feel right at home. Like every Cu00f3rdoba guitar, this model has a two-way truss rod built into the neck. Other premium features include a high gloss finish, clear flamenco-style tap plate, Savarez strings and a padded deluxe gig bag.
Our maple/spruce Grand Auditorium has always been a versatile performer, and this edition boasts an array of tone-enhancing refinements that transform maple’s tone profile into a richer, warmer and more complex voice. As a result, players can expect an even more dynamic and expressive musical tool. Design nuances include a maple-specific back bracing profile and a special seasoning process for the spruce top called torrefaction, a method of roasting the wood to produce an aged tonal character with greater acoustic resonance and responsiveness. Other touches include the use of protein glues to optimize the tonal transfer between key wood components and an ultra-thin, 3.5-mil gloss finish to minimize dampening. A new, hand-rubbed “Brown Sugar” stain on the back and sides gives maple’s striking figure a beautiful violin-hued appearance without adding extra thickness to the finish. Featured appointments include ivoroid Wings fretboard inlays, an inlaid ebony backstrap, ebony binding with ivoroid purfling, an ebony/ivoroid rosette, and a striped ebony pickguard, along with Taylor’s Expression System® 2 acoustic electronics. The guitar comes with a deluxe hardshell case.
