We’re super excited about Martin’s newest travel guitar… the Martin Dreadnought Junior! It features all solid wood top & back, a Fishman pickup, and a gig bag making it the ideal travel / leisure guitar! Fashioned for player comfort, clear powerful tone and easy action, the Dreadnought Junior is reduced to approximately 15/16” of the full Martin 14-fret Dreadnought dimension (14 ¼” width at the lower bout) with an easy to play 24” scale length. A solid Sitka spruce top features scalloped ¼” high performance X-bracing with a single asymmetrical tone bar. The back and sides are bookmatched from sapele. The fingerboard and bridge are made from Richlite, an ebony alternative with similar hardness and appearance. The Dreadnought Junior (aka “D Jr”) comes factory-equipped with Fishman’s Sonitone sound reinforcement system and includes a great nylon gig bag.
Martin 000-28 (2018)
The resonant tone of rosewood in a body style built for balance.
Scalloped X-bracing, herringbone trim and antique white binding offers a bold, complex tone and timeless style. Sitka spruce and East Indian rosewood pair with a sleek modified low-oval neck for sound you won't want to put down and comfort that means you won't need to.
This cutaway edition of our 100 Series Dreadnought gives flatpickers and strummers an open road to explore the upper register, rewarding the excursion with strong, clear treble notes that will make solos shine. The guitar features Taylor’s signature thin-profile neck and a hand-friendly 1 11/16-inch nut width. The layered walnut construction is both resilient and visually appealing, and together with the solid Sitka spruce top, projects a great sound that will improve with age. Taylor’s ES2 pickup cleanly translates the guitar’s tonal nuances into a warm amplified acoustic voice that lets your playing come through loud and clear.
Taylor 414ce-R Indian Rosewood
The acoustic/electric Grand Auditorium 414ce-R responds well to an array of playing styles thanks to Taylor’s flagship body shape and the classic pairing of rosewood and spruce. Rosewood lends a lively overtone sparkle to the treble notes, while the guitar’s overall voice delivers a pleasing mix of warmth and tonal definition. Whether you like to strum, flatpick or play fingerstyle, this guitar makes an inspiring playing partner. Contemporary aesthetic strokes include white binding, Italian acrylic dot fretboard inlays, a three-ring rosette, and a full-gloss body. The guitar comes equipped with Taylor’s Expression System® 2 acoustic electronics along with a Venetian cutaway, and ships in a Taylor deluxe hardshell case.
Taylor 324ce Shaded Edge Burst
A rich-grained mahogany top paired with Tasmanian blackwood back and sides give Taylor’s medium-size cutaway Grand Auditorium body plenty of tonal and visual character. The clear, punchy midrange behaves well in a mix with other instruments, and delivers the kind of musical versatility that makes this a reliable guitar in different playing scenarios. Neo-traditional appointments complement mahogany’s dark, vintage looks, including a shaded edgeburst top and all-satin finish. The guitar incorporates a Venetian cutaway and comes equipped with Expression System® 2 electronics for a dynamic amplified acoustic sound.
