Built with solid spruce top, mahogany sides, and arched mahogany back, the M-240E has a comfortable body and distinctive voice. Guild’s signature arched back design allows for great volume and projection, long sustain, and a lush, full sound. With a 24 3/4” scale length and 1 11/16″ nut width on a vintage shaped Guild neck, this concert size guitar is a joy to play. The M-240E features Guild’s AP-1 pickup, a bone nut and saddle, pearloid rosette, period-correct tortoiseshell pickguard, and a matte polyurethane finish. This model also includes Guild’s new lightweight deluxe gig bag.
This cutaway edition of our 100 Series Dreadnought gives flatpickers and strummers an open road to explore the upper register, rewarding the excursion with strong, clear treble notes that will make solos shine. The guitar features Taylor’s signature thin-profile neck and a hand-friendly 1 11/16-inch nut width. The layered walnut construction is both resilient and visually appealing, and together with the solid Sitka spruce top, projects a great sound that will improve with age. Taylor’s ES2 pickup cleanly translates the guitar’s tonal nuances into a warm amplified acoustic voice that lets your playing come through loud and clear.
A hand-friendly 24-7/8-inch-scale-length neck makes the Taylor 310e a comfortable chord strummer with an expressive musical voice. Sapele back and sides paired with a Sitka spruce top ring out with crisp brightness and clarity that bring definition to the top-end notes, while the wide waist of the Dreadnought yields a robust low end with a pleasing midrange focus. Black binding flanks sapele’s ribbon-like grain, with Italian acrylic small diamond fretboard inlays adding a clean touch. The guitar comes performance-ready with Taylor’s Expression System 2 pickup, and ships in a Taylor deluxe hardshell case.
Taylor 314ce V-Class
Our popular Grand Auditorium 314ce is an acoustic workhorse that performs equally well in the practice room, recording studio, and on stage. This latest edition features our acclaimed V-Class bracing, a revolutionary innovation in acoustic sound that responds with greater musicality and harmonic agreement. By introducing a more orderly vibration to the guitar’s top, V-Class bolsters the sustain and volume to offer players a more dynamic voice to explore, while also resolving the minor intonation issues that players have long had to contend with. Together with a solid Sitka spruce top and solid sapele back and sides, you can expect a balanced and articulate blend of top-end brightness, midrange fullness, and low-end warmth that accommodates an array of playing styles. Appointments include black binding, Gemstone fretboard/peghead inlays in Italian acrylic, and satin-finish back and sides with a gloss top. A Venetian cutaway invites your fretting hand up the neck, while our proprietary ES2 electronics serve up faithful plugged-in tone. The guitar ships in a deluxe hardshell case.
