The Music Store exposes the humorous and often harebrained happenings at Music Villain downtown Bozeman, Montana. The series documents the well-intentioned, and sometimes outlandish staff during their day-to-day operations.

Anyone who has worked in retail can relate to the dynamic of a “team” setting. The Music Villa crew shares the one common goal of running Montana’s Premier Music Store, all while being swayed by their own personality quirks.

The Creators

Levi & Dustin noticed something special in the Music Villa staff. They all seemed like characters in a sit-com. Each one bringing their own personalities and know-how to an otherwise normal small-town music store. Once the cameras were turned on, however, it was obvious that there’s nothing normal about the staff at Music Villa.

Levi Kujala heads up web strategy, marketing and video at Music Villa. When he’s not building or maintaining MV websites, strategizing MV’s social media efforts or making product videos for MusicVilla.com, he shoots and edits the episodes of The Music Store. Currently his tools are a Canon 60d and a Panasonic HVX200. He edits on a Mac with Adobe Premiere Pro and Apple Motion finishing audio in Apple Logic.

Dustin Tucker is Music Villa’s Art & Advertising Director in charge of visual branding, graphics and print. When he’s not designing web & print graphics, advertising campaigns, or updating the websites in Music Villa’s online network, he’s obsessing over The Music Store. Dustin helps with production logistics and brainstorming episodes not to mention he’s also the boom mic operator!
