Music Villa is very proud to officially announce it’s in-store original concert series called: Music Villa Live! Music Villa has always housed great free clinics and performances featuring big names from around the country. With this new concert series we wanted to open up the stage to regularly scheduled performances from local, regional, and national acts and also have a way for the rest of Montana (and the world) to enjoy what Music Villa brings to the Bozeman, Montana community on a regular basis.
The Music Villa Live concert series and musicvillalive.com were finally brought to life in April of 2009 after many a brainstorming session by the concept founders Paul Decker, Levi Kujala, and Dustin Tucker. Since then Music Villa Live has received unbelievable support and depends on many people to produce the event and the website. If you run into any of these people listed below, please thank them for what they do:
- Ajax Starglider at Moxey Creative – Video Production
- Jerry Mullen – Live Sound
- Bobby Riviere- Multi-track digital recording and final mix down
- Jeremiah Slovarp – Final mix down
We are very excited to offer Music Villa Live to the public at no charge. It’s something we’ve wanted to do for a long time now, and now that it’s happening we feel privileged to help showcase the endless talent in and around Montana! We’ve already had some amazing performances, and feel honored to have hosted, Bugs Henderson & the Shuffle Kings, Little Jane & the Pistol Whips, Nine & Zen, Ten Foot Tall & 80 Proof, and Poco Loco. And that’s only the beginning. Later this month we will feature, Mike Beck & the Bohemian (6/13), and Goodnight Sunrise (6/20)!
Each performance will receive as much special attention as possible, including a full video shoot, audio mix-down, interview with KGLT the week of performance, and a band interview & featured post on the musicvilla.com homepage. Each performance will be uploaded to musicvillalive.com approximately one week after the show- where you can then view the videos, make comments, share & embed files, or simply sit back and enjoy the show… very similar to YouTube!

Just uploaded Poco Loco video from June 5 performance. It’s really nice video and audio… and an even better performance from the band. Those guys are truly talented! The musicianship is insane! check it out at http://www.musicvillalive.com.
