It's not difficult to make a vintage single-coil pickup that's clean and bright, but not so easy if you also want the high strings to sound sweet above the 12th fret. The True Velvet™ Neck Model was designed to make this happen by tuning the coil to a frequency range that’s bright but not thin. We combined this with a magnet stagger specifically designed to enhance string balance, which produces great clarity, even with full chords. The True Velvet™ Neck Model comes standard with hand-ground magnets and vintage cloth covered wire.

DiMarzio 6" Str-Right Angle Pedalboard Cable (Black or Red)
DiMarzio Pedal Board Cables allow players to connect multiple effects pedals together. Our custom low capacitance cables have a dual-layered shield consisting of an extruded carbon jacket plus a copper braid shield. This combination delivers 98% isolation from external electrical noises. For added protection, our cable is covered in a resilient nylon over braid that protects from cymbal drops and other common stage and studio damage. DiMarzio uses Switchcraft ¼” ends (made in the USA) encapsulated in a super-tough butyrate resin that permanently bonds the plug to the cable. The system is so rugged and durable that DiMarzio Pedal Board Cables carry a lifetime warranty.
DiMarzio Area 58 Hum-Canceling Strat
There are two major differences between a great vintage Strat® pickup and an average one: treble response and dynamics. A great pickup is clear and bright, but not thin-sounding. A great one makes the sound jump out of the amp when you pick hard and drop way down when you play softly, and the tone varies when the string is picked at different spots. The best pickup we’ve ever heard like this was from 1958, and that’s what inspired the Area 58™, with two major differences. Our pickup has way less magnet pull, and virtually no hum.
