New Gibson Acoustic Models for 2019

September 1st, 2018; Gibson announced some new guitars to the 2019 lineup. While nothing has really changed to the standard line, there are some fun new guitars coming into the fold for 2019.

Below is an overview of the new lines and some of the new models.

New Gibson Acoustics for 2019

New and Updated Acoustic Guitar Lines:

Gibson Studio Acoustics

The Studio Acoustics are using Walnut for the back and sides with a Spruce top and have a bit shallower body depth than the standard guitars for added comfort and a more refined look. This combination also means the price point is more friendly to the working musician. This line consists of a J-45,L-00, J-200 and Hummingbird.

Gibson Deluxe Acoustic Guitars

The Deluxe line is the counterpart to the Studio line. Instead of dressing the guitars down, Gibson took their most popular standard models and dressed them up. These have the same dimensions as the standard model guitars with added inlays, upgraded pickguards and miscellaneous additional aesthetic features that make these guitars visually stand apart from the crowd.
